Is the Slideshow behaving abnormally or frozen? Please check the possible reasons and our recommended solutions below.

Possible Causes:

  • The Internet connection to the device is not stable or fast enough. If the display cannot download the data from our servers reliably, performance will be affected. Please check the strength of WiFi for the device, as an unstable connection can also affect data retrieval and performance.


  • Device is not up-to-date. Accessing the setup interface via a connected Keyboard will allow you to check and update your device's firmware version.


General Suggestions:

  • Restarting the device once can clear the issue. Minor hiccups in performance are expected when the device is in operation continuously. 


  • Perform a Factory Reset by connecting a USB keyboard to the mini computer and navigating to Advanced Settings > Factory Reset. If stuttering or freezing still exists, please submit a ticket to support@solar-fox.com with photos of the Display as well as the with the SFD-number.
