If your registered datasource on your SOLARFOX Show account appears with a red marker next to the name, then the connection to their portal has stopped and requires your attention to begin functioning.
There are a couple possible reasons for this, please go through the list in the order below.
- While in the settings of the datasource, click on the button ''Read Yield Data again''.
- This should be sufficient, if you know that your PV-System was undergoing maintenance or was not uploading any data to their respective portal.
- Check the PV-Plant's Portal.
- The connection between our servers and the PV-Plant's Portal remains green and running once we are able to read new data on a frequent basis. If this rhythm gets interrupted, Our system recognises when the flow is disrupted and the light changes to indicate to you that attention is required. After a few days of inactivity, the connection will remain dormant until it is manually restarted.
- Server Maintenance / API Updates
- We are always moving towards improvements in the communication lines between all of the interfaces that we work with, and likewise are the PV-System Portal developers working on their APIs. This can sometimes take anywhere between a couple hours to a couple weeks.
- If your plant is correctly updating its production on their portal but the datasource is still marked with red, then please submit a ticket to support@solar-fox.com to bring the issue to our attention.
